In The Great Hall

Expect traditional tangos of the Golden Era with some drops of more contemporary versions as Peggy joins us from Paris


12:30PM - 2PM - Off-axis sequences - class with Gaston Olguin (extra charge applies)

In The Studio

Gastón explores off-axis movements through the dynamics of colgadas and volcadas, focusing on their essential differences and integrating them creatively in your improvisation 


12:30PM - 2PM - When Tango meets anatomy 1 - class with Katia Abbondanzieri (extra charge applies) SOLD OUT

Katia uses a nice adorno for leaders and followers to help us understand the muscles in our legs and pelvis; this knowledge can guide us to creating more stable, fluid and organic movements


2PM - 3PM - LGBTQIA+ Archive tours (only available to Festival Pass holders who have pre-booked this tour)

Join archivist Stephan Dickers for a curated tour of the Bishopsgate Institute’s Archives, one of the most extensive collections on LGBTQIA+ history, politics and culture in the UK.


2:30PM - 4PM - A matter of give and take - class with Astrid Weiske (extra charge applies)

Astrid uses sacadas for both roles to develop a fun "You and Me“ conversation and uses this conversation as an inspiration for changing roles


2:30PM - 4PM - When Tango meets anatomy 2 - class with Katia Abbondanzieri (extra charge applies)

Katia explores how your back muscles work together to support your axis, create a natural connection between your upper and lower body, and enrich the quality of your dance 


4PM - 5:30PM - A Queer Tango Discussion: 'What Now?' (free event but please book)

A FREE event with Manu Sanz, Ray Batchelor, Edgardo Fernadez Sesma and others where we host a discussion about why we dance in this maddening world and what comes next...


6PM - Midnight  - Alternative dance space

In The Studio

Our intimate, alternative music room is open to any guests wanting a change of pace from the main room


6:15PM - 7.45PM - 'The Performance of the Milonga' with Arno Plass & Manu Sans

In The Great Hall

We all can be afraid of rejection on the dance floor. In this workshop for everyone, Arno Plass & Manu Sanz explore egos, rejection and how you can get people to dance with you

Expect the best of the Golden Age from one of QTL's resident DJs
